   Action/Shooter. Shadowgrounds is an entertaining game where you should battle aliens at different locations. The events are set in the near future; the aliens are invading a colony base. Your task is to protect your land. Be ready to investigate alien origins, rescuing evacuation and setting up defense perimeters. The motion sensor helps you to detect any moving objects and it makes your task easier. The game resembles first-person shooter game as you are killing the enemies throughout the game play. You can choose between several levels of difficulty, according to the level of your playing skills. The game ends when your health reaches zero, you will restart from the last automatic save point. The health packs are scattered around the map in different locations. Enemies will drop upgrade credits which can be used to enhance the weapons, including: pistols, rifle, shotgun, mini-gun, laser rifle, electric gun, and many others.

   Shadowgrounds is a challenging game designed with excellent graphics and well-selected sound effects. There are lots of cut-scenes which interrupt the game play frequently. Be ready to play from a fixed overhead point, and watch nicely represented locations and backgrounds. All the latest graphical enhancements are used in the game. Everything is very detailed and nice, impressing you with the way it is depicted. The sound system suggests suitable background music to your attention. Overall, I would advise this game to all the fans of this genre as you are provided with much speed and action.
