Genre and what to do:
Seek-and-find game. I think you know what you must do in such games. But for those who don't know find-hidden-objects games are the games, which contain rooms full of objects that must be found. You start off as a novice of Magician. Your task is to find the required objects for use in various spells. Once you have found all the required objects you must perform the spell by completing one of a couple of other types of mini-game. The searching itself gets spread across a number of rooms, each of which gets revisited on different occasions. Wand in hand, you are going to visit numerous locations to look for the enchanted items you need to create spells that will take you closer to the source of the mystery.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Do you believe in magic? I think that you can't say no, because it is the other world with its atmosphere. You are in the atmosphere of enormous things. The concept is very simple but they can be a real challenge. The game itself is well put together and suitably challenging. The game is split into 13 chapters, each sending you to two or more locations to search for the items you need for a spell. You're given a limited amount of time to find a set number of objects and complete a mini-game that forms the actual enchantment from the items you've gathered. Each location consists of a single static screen, with the items for which you're hunting scattered across the screen, sometimes in plain sight, more often in hard-to-spot places. The further you get into the game the harder the searches become and the more items you have to find. Thankfully there is a spell that lets you ward off the distractions letting you search in peace. Graphics is really great. The rooms you search through are nicely drawn, although I would guess they are by a variety of different artists, and the quality varies. Often the items you have to find are relatively straight forward, although well hidden, but sometimes you have some harder items. I enjoyed the hand-painted backgrounds.
