Real time strategy. Great Invasion suggests an exciting gameplay and storyline, which takes you to the period between the fall of the Western Roman Empire and the first crusade 500 years after that. You have a chance to recreate this age. You are in charge of groups of nations which are in opposition to a single power. Be ready to take the fate of up to ten nations at a time, under your control. The player is going to deal with a detailed map of Europe and the North African coast and the Levant. To become the dominant empire you are to earn victory points. The huge map is divided into provinces. You can view a map from different modes: economic, military, and others. Lead your armies in the epic quest of Europe! The game provides you with more than 150 nations and tribes to discover, over 30 religions, numerous historical characters, and much more. The gameplay covers more than 700 years of history.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Great Invasions is a great game designed with beautiful graphics and suitable sound system. All the locations and maps are represented in a very detailed way. You are going to keep track of a huge number of items at a time. The player receives periodic messages with different offers throughout the gameplay, which helps to understand what to do next. There is a well-done 2D graphics, though you cant say that it is perfect. The sound system is rather typical to the game of this genre: you are going to listen to varied sound effects from battles, relevant background music, and other sounds. I would highly advise this game to all the fans of strategy genre, as it provides you with engaging gameplay, gorgeous storyline, and well-done graphics.
