Genre and what to do:
Pontoon is a great British variation of the Blackjack poker game. The rules of the game are very similar to the blackjack game though it introduces some new features as well. Each deck of cards in Pontoon consists of 48 cards, without jokers and the 4 "Tens". You will hit a 'Pontoon hand' when the initial 2 cards dealt are an Ace and a Picture card. You have a choice of hitting, standing, doubling, or splitting. When you hit a Pontoon or 21 point you are paid immediately. Besides, you can surrender half of the initial bet only when the dealer's first card is an Ace or a Picture Card. The bets can be doubled on any initial 2 cards. In a case, the initial 2 cards consist of an Ace, the Ace will only be counted as 1, not 11. The objective of the game stays the same: you should get a hand that's close to 21 as possible without going over. Pontoon provides the players with a special bonus payout to winning hands.
