Flight simulator/action. Comanche 4 is a successful sequel of famous Comanche series that lets you feel threat and excitement of being a pilot of Comanche RAH-66 helicopter. It is created in such a way that players can get into the action as quickly as possible. There is comprehensive tutorial that teach you all the required things so you can begin single player campaign in 20 minutes or so. The missions are divided into six campaigns - five missions each, which have no common storyline. All the missions in Comanche 4 are rather difficult. Be ready to be attacked by variety of enemies at once, and their missiles and gunfire are very accurate. The objectives in the missions can be split into two types: stealthy seek-and-destroy and blow up everything. There is also multiplayer mode that supports up to 16 players in a variety of game modes, including cooperative play, death match and team death match.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Comanche 4 is a unique combination of flight simulation and intense action that features high quality graphics, impressive and diverse sound system and variety of special effects. The special effects are surely stricken you explosions and rotor wash. More than that, the effect of flying low over water makes indelible impression upon you. Unfortunately, the terrain is a bit uneven and can be done better. There are also a limited number of vehicle models, though it is a good-looking game in general.
