Burger Island

   Diner Dash game. Meet a lovely girl, named Patty, who has been shipwrecked and has found herself on deserted Mount Tikikola Beach. She decides to turn a run-down burger stand into prosperous fast food stand. Your task is to prepare burgers, fries or milkshakes according to customers' orders before they lose their temper and leave your stand.Meet a minimum cash goal before closing time comes around on any given day, and you successfully complete the level, and have the option to buy new gourmet recipes. Each original culinary creation is, of course, sold at an increasing premium, with the cycle repeating itself as you slowly work your way around the island, opening new stands. Things start out simple enough, with one of three scenarios presented. Looking at four trays from a perspective set above and behind the Patty's back, you'll either be working the grill, fryer or milkshake-making station. So be ready to cook up tasty treats by slapping meat, veggies, condiments and other yummy toppings together as fast as possible. All the ingredients must be assembled in the exact order prescribed by the icons hovering above each color-coded station. As can be expected, this involves moving your mouse about the screen at top speed, hyperactively clicking on buns, milk cartons, bottles of strawberry syrup, cans of whipped cream and piles of peppers.

   Burger Island is a new captivating interpretation of original Diner Dash that features colorful detailed graphics, interesting story, diverse sound effects and cheerful instrumental music. As for graphics, it is professionally done; locations, stands and characters are impressive. I personally like Pierre, who appears as a tutor and makes you smile by comic appearance and behavior. All in all, despite of unoriginal game concept Burger Island is the highly polished game that offers gratifying experience that surely appeals to wide range of players.
