   Cards. Welcome to Ancient Hearts and Spades that offers you to play popular card games without a foursome. There are two card games: Hearts and Spades. The basic rules of Hearts are: highest card of led suit takes the hand; hearts cost 1 point; Queen of Spades is worth 13 points. The game is played until one of the opponents score 100 points; that person is looser. The winner is that player, who scores the least points. As for the basic rules of Spades, they sound like that: highest card of led suit takes the hand; spade cards are trumps, so you can beat any suit using spades. You play in pair with the player, who sits in front of you. Before every game you select number of hands that you suppose to take. The pair that scores 500 points first is the winner. Each card game is subdivided into five ways of play: Easy, Medium, Hard, Tournament and Speed. Easy, Medium and Hard games offer you to compete against opponents with corresponding skill level. Tournament invites you to play against 15 opponents in 3 rounds. Speed game is the most challenging one because you can't see you cards, while your opponents play and you have limited time for each move.

   Ancient Hearts and Spades includes popular card games in bright stylish wrapper. It features colorful Ancient-themed graphics, diverse sound effects and suitable drum music. Graphics is well rendered and done; you surely like beautiful antique backgrounds and stunning visuals. Unfortunately you can't create an avatar or see your opponents that would have made the game much appealing. As for customizable options; they are limited and you can only select deck type. The game is good for both novices and experienced players since there are multiple difficulty levels, comprehensive help and hints.
