On April 12 1998 in the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory near Chicago Professor William Kauffman mathematically proves the existence of an infinite number of parallel universes based on the theory of 'Superstrings.' This theory was developed in 1984 in an attempt to unify quantum mechanics and Einstein's general relativity. A superstring is an elementary particle at the base of matter and energy.
