Out of the Park Baseball is a comprehensive baseball simulation game where gamers can play successive seasons in career mode and create their own baseball history, or, import historical data to and simulate single-season replays. A comprehensive financial model (including player and staff contracts, free agency, revenue sharing and an optional salary cap) is coupled with a sophisticated player modeling system, full HTML export and printing support, and over 1,000 individual statistics, from batting average and runs batted in to Component ERA and Total Average. Out of the Park Baseball also provides extensive multiplayer options for online league play.Additionally, Out of the Park Baseball serves as a virtual baseball construction kit, allowing players to create players, teams and leagues from scratch using a generous suite of built-in editing tools. Gamers can customize the game engine, the financial model, the league structure, stadiums and ballpark, and team logos, and can even tweak (or create new) baseball "era" settings, which emulate the tendencies of historical baseball epochs (Deadball Era, Modern Baseball) to shape the game's artificial intelligence choices and statistical output.This year's edition of Out of the Park Baseball contains more than fifty, substantive new features, as well as enhancements to existing features.
