The game takes its players to the world of Nostradamus in 1566 during his last months of the life. A murderer kills people in the court of Queen Catherine de Medici. You, as a daughter, must find them before it is too late. The game takes place in the home of Nostradamus during the period of French Renaissance. Queen Catherine de Medici comes to Nostradamus to tell, that his prophetic quatrain about her seems to be coming true. Nostradamus is too sick to leave his home, thatÂ’s why he sends his son Cesar, who appears to be his daughter, Madeleine, to help. Your task is to help her investigate the 12 deaths which took place, and decide whether a prophecy come true or an evil person helps the fate.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Queen Catherine de Medici is a great adventure game, which offers a number of puzzles to go through. The game representation is done in a good way, with numerous locations you will visit, varied characters you will deal with, etc. The game audio provides you with operatic tone, including the soprano voices, orchestra strings and much more. The game sound is very atmospheric. The only negative features you will notice, is the way the voice acting is done. All in all, it is a challenging game which offers hours of exciting gameplay to your attention.
